Geocaching is an exciting new family friendly outdoor activity using high tech handheld GPS units to find treasure (well, if not treasure, then at least tupperware containers filled with inexpensive toys, Altoids, Where's George dollar bills and other fun to find junk) hidden in secret caches all over the world!

The game is simple - Find the cache. Take something. Leave something. Write in the log book.

Using these portable GPS units (we use the Garmin EMap), you are able to pinpoint your location somewhere on Earth within 50' of accuracy. You then go out on an adventure armed with only latitude and longitude coordinates and sometimes a few clues.
