It's been 2 weeks since the Dutch Clog debacle that I brought on us when we went out with USAToday reporter Laura Bly. This morning, Cache Master Zach and I set out together to finish it. No Dina, no Samantha, not even Mac, the Geocaching Wonder Dog. Just the 2 of us. Oh yeah - this time we brought the correct coordinates with us. Makes quite a difference, let me tell you!
Armed with newfound confidence gained at yesterday's picnic, we were successful on this occasion, finding the cache in about an hour. This was a terrific hunt, with the cache located in a very thick area of trees making it hard to get good satellite reception. Nevertheless, the coordinates were right on and we found it where we expected it to be.
To provide some closure, we added the bag of USAToday golf tees to the cache container.
