This is a themed geocache containing a variety of Glow In The Dark novelty items. At the time of the cache placement, it included stickers, play dough, crayons, silly straws, toy dinosaurs, superballs and a slingshot airplane. I would appreciate it if any cache seekers, after taking something from the cache, replace it with another Glow In The Dark object. This can add an extra bit of creative challenge to your pre-hunt preparation!
The cache is hidden in Lakewood Forest Preserve in Wauconda, Illinois. This park has many nice features including a dog excercise area (permits required), a winter sports area with a large well lit sledding hill, cross country ski trails, and equestrian trails. You can rent horses or contract for a hay or sleigh ride at Happy Trails Stables located adjacent to Lakewood on Route 12, just north of Milton Road in Wauconda. The park is also home to the Lake County Museum. From their web page: "The Museum tells the story of Lake County and how it fits in the world's historic picture.
