Hat Trick - 8/19/2001

Today was a hat trick by "Wrong Way" Dave and "CacheMaster" Zach of Team April. We hit "Semper Fi", "Drury Lane" and "Row Row Row Your Boat". All three caches were pretty easy to find - we probably spent more time driving between them than searching - but they were lots of fun as always.

In fact, I would now rank R3YB as my favorite cache to date just because having to rent a rowboat to get to the island on which the cache is hidden is great fun!

Drury Lane was fun as a good example of an urban cache. Plus we had a bonus when Zach's eagle eyes spotted Dave's namesake sign!

Finally, we rented our rowboat in Busse Woods Forest Preserve ($8 an hour - a bargain at twice the price) and left the landlubbers behind. A beautiful day, a clever cache, and Zach sporting his new fashionable Geocaching T-Shirt made this one the most memorable yet! Highly recommended!
