| dreaming....sometimes so real, it's difficult to distinguish reality from dreaming, or perhaps one need not do so. Why have we been taught to consider dreaming not "real"? Sometimes the most exquisite images and passions are experienced while in a dream state. This state-of-mind pushes the envelope of color, design and visual feasting, and is often the catalyst for literal renderings of those experiences. - Victoria Lenne | ||
| Title: Goddess: The Spark of Life |

Description:
I am a traditionally trained artist who loves exploring Digital Illustration. Goddess was created using KPT5's Fractal Flame in spherical mutation and it's inner image revealed with Painter 5's 2B pencil in cover mode. The ethereal feel of this piece lends to its dreamlike state of subconscious where I believe the Goddess dwells. She holds the spark of life, energy, in her hand....herself being composed of light, color, energy. |

Description:
With the many beautiful full moons we've had this year I had thought to call this piece Blue Moon -- but as it progressed and I eliminated the walls and window frame so the curtains just part into the moonlight it began to look more like a waking dream. The fantasy image was fun to try. It was created in Painter 5 using various types of chalk. |

Description:
Some dreams are Magical - you formulate something, and there it is all around you! Some dreams bring out the Child - enter wonder, simplicity and a permission for the spirit to lift, fly, soar ... This picture is about a dream where the magic and the child come together - or perhaps it wasn't just a dream... |

Description:
This is what came when starting with a line drawing in the morning after a dream. The finished piece took about a month to complete. The entirety of the image was done in FractalPainter5, starting with the process found in Karen Sperling's 'Artistry" magazine, Aug/Sept, 1998 issue, "Adding Color to Line Art with Painter's Floaters." Karen's magazine inspired me to upgrade my FractalPainter software in order to be able to make use of this process. 'Fish Dreaming' will be shown as a digital print in an upcoming gallery show and fits in with the Theme of opening and surrendering to divinity. |

Description:
While our dreams may take us to places of fantasy and wonder, it is often life's everyday concerns that occupy our thoughts when we arrive. I was going for a children's storybook look with this image. Modelled in Raydream Studio 5.0.2 with the background created in Painter 4. I also created an animated view of this scene in Quicktime available at my web site for those interested. |
